Hello my most wonderful family and friends!!
So…this week was pretty much awesome, as you can see from the title of this email.
I briefly mentioned last week of the miracle investigator family that we found. Well, they are AMAZING!! God has really prepared them for the gospel. We saw them literally like every day this week. They love us, and we love them!
The two twin girls (E&E) love us and they hug us every time that we come over. The dad, (J) doesn’t ever want us to leave our lessons. He just loves hearing more about the gospel. The girls went to activity days this week with all the other little girls in the ward. We had dinner with the family in a member’s home on Saturday. We went to take them breakfast on Sunday and they were all sitting outside waiting for us all dressed up in their church outfits. It was so cute! All three of them are on date for the 13th of next month. Booyah!! I love families. WE are seeing them again tonight to have another lesson, we have dinner scheduled in a member’s home again this week with them. We are probably going to see them every day again this week. So yeah, that’s just how awesome they are. Sister Carlson and I are going to get a picture with them, and when we do I will send it home so that you can see what this awesome family looks like. 🙂
So that was pretty much the highlight of the week. It rained and it was kinda hot and humid this week. Gross. I hate that sticky humid feeling. Oh well, we are starting to head out of summer. Crazy! IT won’t be like this for long.
We also had zone conference this week, which was so awesome and revelatory!! (spelling?) I will write about some of the awesome things that were talked about and send it home to my family, and then my dad can post some stuff. It’s worth hearing. It was so good!
We also had exchanges on Saturday. That was a lot of fun! I love our Sister Training Leaders. They are so cool. 🙂
Anyway, that’s about it for the week. I love you all so much though! There are good things happening everywhere. Keep being awesome and have a great week. 🙂
PS: So, last Monday, president porter made this announcement to us. You ready for it? I was so excited that I was jumping up and down (it was a little pathetic). On Monday, Sept. 8th, our whole mission (all of the missionaries) get to go to….a Cincinnati Reds baseball game!! Wahoo! I don’t even like baseball a whole ton, but it will be so awesome to be at the game and with a lot of missionaries. I am so excited!! 🙂
